"Learn Radio in a Day" is a one day course that will give you a taste of what making a radio show is all about. You'll have lots of fun and even make some new friends.
You will learn many skills throughout the day!
- Presenting tips (voice inflection, reading scripts, clarity)
- Understanding the sectors of the radio industry
- Understanding different audiences
- Ofcom rules and regulations
- What makes a radio show
- Developing ideas for a radio show
- Making a radio feature
- Scripting your own introduction to a show
- Presenting a live radio show
It could be a step to further learning and volunteering
Lunch and refreshments will be provided for the day
You must be aged 19 to 60 and unemployed.
