Introduction to Photography - Learners will have access to professional photography equipment and will learn how to compose and take quality photographs. Skills learnt will be image construction, exploring different lighting settings and how angles can effect the impact of images Introduction to Radio Production - Learners will be able to access a professional radio studio and experience what it is like as a radio presenter. The practical half day workshop will cover introduction to studio equipment, interviewing techniques, presenting techniques and sound recording. The event will be informal and give learners the chance to experience what it takes to make radio programmes. Introduction to Video Production - learners will have access to a TV studio and will gain hands on experience on operating digital cameras, live vision mixing and sound recording. This will be an interactive event with learners playing the role of camera, director, actors and sound engineer.
