MERC is an adult education centre based in Manchester City Centre and its services are aimed at adults over 18 years who, for a variety of reasons, are unlikely to use mainstream adult education services without some initial help. MERC are inviting all staff and/or service users from agencies that work with their target groups to visit MERC during their open afternoon. The afternoon will provide an opportunity for staff and potential students to find out more about MERC and the services it offers. Service users will be able to take part in one or two taster sessions including art, drama, computers and cookery.
