October is the month gardeners need to start clearing this years annual growth, sowing autumn vegetables and working on our perennial plants - dividing and replanting them. Come and learn how to do the following: a. digging over the Shakespearean Gardens and planting onions and broad beans b. digging and manuring the veg patch c. identifying, removing and transplanting perennial plants d. painting tyres as temporary planters (to house the above) Everyone welcome, tools and gloves provided. Wear sensible clothes and outdoor shoes. Refreshments at the end.
