Street Children & Families of Calabar

24 October 2009
/ 12:00AM - 11:59PM. 24th October
@ St Marys Parsonage
Free

A seminar to raise awareness of the suffering surrounding vulnerable and disadvantaged children and families, of the so-called child witches, in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. By focusing this seminar on the Niger Delta we hope to raise awareness of an effective model being used to eridicate the stigmatisation of children as witches, whilst inspiring others elsewhere in similar circumstances. We also aim to encourage people to support the work of those charities who are working in this area of stigmatism. We will have a guest speaker on the day and refreshments will be provided.
